Ural-61A Tunneling and Cleaning Combine for Horizontal Mining

The Ural-61A tunnelling and cleaning combine is designed for tunnelling horizontal and inclined (up to 12) preparatory mine workings of arch shape and cleaning excavation in chambers at potash ore beds of 3.0-3.4 m thickness. The combine mechanises all labour-intensive processes during stripping, loading of rock mass and drilling of boreholes for anchoring. The combine is equipped with an effective dust protection system, including a shield with elastic sealing along the contour of excavation and a dust-collecting unit with a centrifugal fan.

The combine is equipped with an autonomous cabin protecting the operator from dust, noise and vibration, as well as from the possible ingress of pieces of ore.The drilling unit of the combine provides drilling of boreholes into the roof of the excavation, for the subsequent installation of anchors.The caterpillar of the combine has manoeuvring and working modes with infinitely variable speed control of feed to the bottom hole.The combine is equipped with remote control by radio remote control.
