Description
The largest and most powerful of the new icebreakers. It will be able to overcome ice 3 metres thick.
Designed for:
- independent guiding of vessels (including large-capacity vessels), leading caravans all year round in the Western Arctic region;
- icebreaker escorting vessels in shallow waters of the Yenisei (Dudinka direction) and the Gulf of Ob;
- towing vessels and other floating structures in ice and clear water;
- assisting vessels and performing rescue operations in ice conditions and in clear water.
