Description

The universal diesel-electric icebreaker can conduct caravans independently or work in conjunction with a nuclear-powered icebreaker leader. Provides assistance to ships and performs rescue operations in ice conditions and on clear water, makes expeditionary voyages. Performs the functions of a fire-fighting vessel when extinguishing fires on ships, drilling and oil production platforms. Ensures performance of underwater technical operations with the use of the ship diving complex in container version, the possibility of placing it on the ship is provided, in the areas of installation of drilling and oil production platforms and laying of underwater pipelines. Conducts seabed survey, search and rescue operations with the use of special complexes installed on the vessel.
