PPS-34 Underground Self-Rescue Device Storage System for Personnel Safety

PPS - underground structure (shelter) for storage of reserve self-rescuers and protection of underground personnel, is an autonomous technical device, provides accessibility to underground personnel during evacuation from emergency areas of mines to self-rescuers with unused resource of action.
PPPs are classified according to the following characteristics:
- By the method of placement in the mine workings (mobile or stationary);
- By the nature of movement in the mine workings (mobile and non-mobile);
- By fresh air supply system (autonomous and combined - mine pneumatic pipeline and cylinders);
- By constructional design (modular and containerised);
- By lighting design (battery or combined lamps);
- By autonomous operation time (but not less than 90 minutes);
- By capacity;
- By airlocking (with vestibule-locker, pass-through, combined);
- By door locking method (lever, toothed, combined).
