Transformer TR-0.63/0.22 U3 for Battery Charging Applications

Transformer TR-0,63/0,22 U3 6BS.172.474 together with two-pulse bridge rectifier is designed to create additional voltage in the battery charging circuit of head or non-motor carriages. The transformer has a core of rod type. Two coils are located on the side rods of the core.

The coils are frameless, multilayer coils. The primary winding is located on one rod of the magnetic core, the secondary winding on the other. The magnetic core with coils is fastened to the lid on the studs that constrain it.

The coil leads of the primary winding for connection of external wires are brought out to the terminal strip XT1, the coil leads of the secondary winding - to the terminal strip XT2. The transformer is installed in the cabinet, next to the panel P.08.1 U3 of the head car or panel P.18.1 U3 of the non-motor car.
