Tram Current Collector TrA 02-50 SET 90 for Efficient Energy Transfer

The current collector (hereinafter referred to as TP or current collector) is designed for installation on a tram car (hereinafter referred to as EPS), for removal of direct current from the contact network corresponding to SP 98.13330.2018, rated voltage 550 V according to GOST 6962-75. The permissible continuous current when the EPS is travelling up to 90 km/h is 800 A and up to 160 A when parked from the contact network. The current collector is equipped with the system of remote control of raising/lowering due to the use of an actuator, as well as there is a possibility of manual emergency raising/lowering.

In the construction of the current collector aluminium alloys are used, which allowed to reduce the weight of the TP, without compromising the rigidity of the structure. The use of aluminium alloys significantly increases the corrosion resistance of the current collector, which in turn increases its service life. Available versions with emergency lowering system of the current collector, this system allows to minimise damage from hooks/strikes on the current collector slide.
