TPS2-P Cable for Marine Applications - Ideal for Harsh Environments

For laying in offshore areas (coastal shelf and deep water); For laying in all types of soils, including rocky and subject to permafrost deformations, in swamps, at crossings over navigable rivers and other water obstacles; For laying in cable ducts, pipes, trays, blocks, tunnels, collectors, on bridges and overpasses. The cable contains a central optical module with loosely laid fibres. The space in the optical module is filled with hydrophobic gel. An armour of steel wires is spirally applied to the central optical module.

The free space between the wires is filled with hydrophobic gel. The armour is longitudinally overlaid with water-blocking and aluminopolymer tapes. An intermediate sheath of polyethylene and armour of steel wires is placed on top of the tape.
