Thyristor rectifier units for power supply of direct current arc, vacuum, garnish furnaces are designed to provide direct current power supply to electric arc furnaces for melting of structural and high-alloy steels, cast irons, including synthetic ones, alloys based on aluminium, copper, nickel, cobalt, titanium and other metals, any types of ligatures, remelting of wastes of the above metals, including lead-containing ones, as well as reductive melting of ore materials.
