Description
The runway (runway) entrance light shall be installed at the runway threshold in two groups of six lights on a line (for the OMI scheme) perpendicular to the runway axis, at a distance of not more than 3 metres from the runway threshold. The third lamp in each group (counting the runway axis location) shall be set on the continuation of the runway lamp line. The distance between the lights in the group is 2.5-+0.25 metres.
The lights are intended to indicate the beginning of the runway (its end) and emit green light. For the helipad the lights are installed in two groups of three lights.
