The thermal mask SAVER - designed to protect respiratory organs from the adverse effects of cold (up to -50ºC) and dry air in conditions of low temperatures. Increases the energy resource of a person during prolonged stay in the open air at low temperatures. It is used for professional activities, active recreation and extreme sports in cold climates. The design of the mask includes a heat-exchange unit. The heat exchange unit accumulates the thermal energy of exhalation and transfers it to the inhalation portion, heating the cold inhaled air to a comfortable temperature. In addition, it also transfers the latent heat of vapour formation by transferring exhalation moisture in the form of vapour to the inhaled air, which significantly increases the efficiency of heat exchange.
