The platform press has similar mechanics of movement with squats, but thanks to the simpler technique, it gives better results and is a safer exercise. The platforms move along a defined arc-shaped trajectory, which allows you to remove unnecessary tension on the Achilles tendon at the bottom point of the amplitude. Due to the fact that the technique of the exercise involves tight fixation of the back, the lifter can work with heavy weights, eliminating the risk of back injury.
