The surge protection device (SPD) is designed to protect electrical equipment in low-voltage power distribution systems with frequency 50-60 Hz and rated voltage 230/400 V from the effects of impulse lightning overvoltages, as well as switching overvoltages, the sources of which are switching in the circuits of inductive and capacitive loads, short circuits in the distribution networks of high and low voltage. The surge arresters meet the requirements for surge arresters of test class III according to GOST IEC 61643-11 and can be installed in switchboards or in special panels directly next to the protected equipment in order to ensure its protection in accordance with its category of overvoltage (I - IV) and the required nominal impulse voltage Uw according to GOST R 50571.4.44 and GOST R 50571.5.53.
