Sterile Single-Use Urogenital Polymer Catheter Type A for Diagnostic Procedures

The probe is designed for sampling biological material during diagnostic procedures for clinical, bacteriological or cytological studies. The probe is produced sterile, single use, in the conditions of medical institutions Type A (Universal) is used to take swabs from the cervical canal and urethra for cytological or bacteriological examination. It consists of a handle and a working part made of viscose (flock) with microcellulose fibres. The handle of the probe should have notches at a distance of (87mm ±5%) mm and (111mm ±5%) mm from the non-working end of the probe (hollow handle). If necessary, the end with the working part shall be broken off and placed in the opening of the hollow handle of the probe and transported with the biomaterial samples to the laboratory.
