Steel flange is a metal disc with a hole in its centre, and a diameter matching the diameter of the pipeline on which the flange is fitted. To ensure a tight connection, holes are drilled along the outer edge of the product, through which studs or bolts are passed. Steel flanges can be attached to pipes of types 01,02,04,11, either by threading or by welding.
