Spinal Immobilization Shield for Safe Rescue Operations

The immobilisation shield is made of high-strength dyed polyethylene, free of impurities, latex-free. Thanks to its buoyancy, it can be used in water rescue operations. A large number of holes on the shield allows to quickly and conveniently fix a victim of any build with the help of a belt system.

Materials of the product allow multiple sanitisation and chemical disinfection without changing the appearance and durability of the product. The shield can be placed on a medical stretcher, used together with a vacuum mattress or used independently. Additional opening in the shield at the level of the patient's lower limbs allows additional separate immobilisation in case of hip and tibia fractures.

The shield is radiopaque.
