UOS NK 80 is designed for forced limitation of the maximum speed of the car depending on the specified conditions (parameters). The device consists of an electronic control unit (ECU), which is installed in the cab of the vehicle. It receives a speed signal from a speed sensor mounted on the gearbox or from the ABS system (depending on the type and model of the vehicle) and acts on the accelerator pedal of the vehicle. In activating the vehicle's speed limiter, the EOS uses only the vehicle's engine fuel restriction mechanism and does not activate either the vehicle's service or parking brake systems, thus preventing the vehicle from losing control or shutting down the engine while the speed limiter is operating.
