Specialized Technological Equipment for GAKS-L-4 Lathes for Mechanical Processing

Specialised technological tooling of GAKS-L-4 type is designed for machining under cladding and after cladding of sealing surfaces of body gates and wedges of flanged gate valves with wedge chamber angle of 10º on carousel lathes. The tooling can also be used for machining gate valves with wedge chamber angles of 6º, 8º and 12º. The tooling is mounted on the faceplate of the lathe. The body of the gate valve to be machined is mounted with the main flange on the inclined surface and fixed on it by means of clamps. The wedge of the gate valve to be machined is mounted and fastened on the jig faceplate using the wedge machining kit.
