Description

New standards in agrotechnics, set by modern resource-saving technology of zero tillage (no-till), provides for the abandonment of mechanical tillage in combination with the introduction of soil-protective crop rotations, as well as suppression of weeds and pests with the help of agrotechnical and chemical methods of plant protection. A stable mulch layer of crop residues formed on the field surface, which is a prerequisite for the introduction of no-till, protects the soil from water and wind erosion, creates an optimal temperature and water-air regime, contributes to the effective suppression of weed growth and activation of soil microflora, and is the basis for the reproduction of the fertile layer.
