Smooth Calipers for Length Measurement (10 to 500 mm)

Smooth spike gauges are used to check the lengths and diameters of external surfaces. They can be single-sided and double-sided, single-limit and double-limit. Single-precision spike gauges are either pass-through or non-pass-through. To control dimensions of the 8th accuracy qualification (and less accurate), the spade gauges with interchangeable jaws are used. To control more precise products (up to the 6th qualification), the working surfaces of gauges are equipped with hard alloy. In small-scale and one-off production, spike gauges are made of sheet metal, in high-volume and mass production - of forgings and castings.
