It is used in safety harnesses to safely stop a fall in conjunction with safety harnesses. It can also be used as a restraining sling and positioning sling.

Adjustment allows to change the length of the sling depending on the distance between the anchor point and the danger zone.
A jerk shock absorber is included in the design.
