Single Adjustable Rope Sling "K14p Fireproof" for Welding and Fire-Proximity Work

It is used when carrying out electric and gas welding works and other works carried out in close proximity to fire. Warning! This equipment is not for use by firefighters during firefighting and related priority rescue operations.

It is intended for fixing the working position at height, for keeping the worker from getting into the risk zone where a fall from height is possible, and also as a sling for positioning. It is used in conjunction with a harness for holding and positioning. When connected to a lifeline system, a shock absorber is mandatory.

Made of rope with braided aramid fire-resistant fibre. Adjustment allows to change the length of the sling depending on the distance between the anchor point and the danger zone.
