Silma-01 Direct Emission Flat-End Light Guide for Medical Applications

Light guides are designed for delivery of laser radiation from laser medical device to the operating field. Light guides are used together with any medical laser devices, with radiation wavelength from 0.2 to 2.2 microns. Light guides are optical fibres made of optical quartz and polymer, on the one hand terminated with optical connectors for connection to laser apparatus, on the other hand - optically treated ends of optical fibres or equipped with tips forming a different diagram of laser radiation directivity.

Light guides are intended for application in specialised medical institutions by trained medical personnel during surgical operations or therapeutic actions with the use of medical laser devices.
