SHNE 8700A series DC shields for nuclear power plants

DC switchboards of SHNE 8700A series are designed to receive DC electric energy from rectifiers and accumulator batteries and distribute it between electric energy receivers:
- emergency power supply systems;
- diesel generators;
- general unit systems;
- protection control systems;
- open switchgears;
- systems for securing the main equipment;
- control computer systems.

The area of application of the SHNE 8700A series DC Shields is the DC installations of nuclear power plants, providing DC power supply to the auxiliary power receivers of nuclear power plants in all normal and emergency operating modes, as well as the required operating modes of accumulator batteries (constant recharge; charge; discharge; control discharge).
