The main unified electric power system is designed to provide main and emergency power supply to all consumers, control of GTE, charging of energy storage system on the basis of accumulator batteries on ships with electric propulsion. Composition: Main switchboard, frequency converters, switchboard, emergency switchboard, control system of the unified electric power system (UES). Typical solution DC bus voltage 700 or 1100V. Other variants are possible depending on the specific project. Battery power allows to reduce costs during ship operation, as well as to increase environmental friendliness and reduce noise.
