The set of firefighters' protective clothing against increased thermal effects (heavy type) is designed to protect firefighters from increased thermal effects (intense thermal radiation, ambient gas-air temperature up to 800ºC, short-term contact with an open flame) and hazardous environmental factors arising during firefighting and rescue operations in close proximity to an open flame, as well as from adverse climatic effects (negative temperatures, wind, precipitation).
