Separation equipment is designed for use in process units of chemical, petrochemical, refining, oil, gas and other related industries at a wall temperature not below minus 60 ° C, operating under overpressure, vacuum with a residual pressure of not less than 665 Pa, with a nominal volume of not more than 200 m3.
Depending on the technological purpose separators are divided into the following types:
- Type 1: Separators-cleaners serve for cleaning of media from condensate, water, various inhibitors and other liquid and solid inclusions;
- type 2: Separators-separators are used for separation of media;
- type 3: Separator-cleaner-separators are used both as a separator and as a cleaner;
- type 4: Separators for other processes.
