Description
Designed for arthroscopic stabilisation of the shoulder joint. The screw has a base, a threaded section (to be placed in the articular process of the scapula), a protruding pad (to rest in the apex of the clavicular process) and a smooth section, which is located between the base and the threaded section. The diameter of the smooth section is chosen to be less than the diameter of the thread of the threaded section, and the diameter of the base is equal to the diameter of the stop pad. At the same time, the length of the screw base is equal to the depth of the muscle mass of the surgical wound, and the length of the smooth section is equal to the thickness (length) of the beak tip.
