Ring-toothed Roller KКЗ-6Б for Efficient Soil Compaction and Preparation

Ring-toothed roller is designed for crushing clods, breaking soil crust, rolling the soil, compacting to a depth of up to 7cm subsurface and loosening to a depth of 4cm surface layers of soil. After rolling, the surface of the field is covered with a mulch layer of soil, which helps to retain moisture. Pre-sowing rolling is used to retain moisture in the soil, crush large clods of earth and level the surface of the field, as well as to compact the soil, which is especially necessary before sowing crops. This operation reduces slippage and subsidence of the seed drill's drive wheels, which increases sowing uniformity and stabilises the seed placement depth.
