ReviVR Stroke Rehabilitation Trainer for Early Verticalization and Mobility Recovery

The ReviVR early verticalisation simulator is a hardware and software complex for motor rehabilitation. The system is based on virtual reality and biofeedback technologies. ReviVR combines visual, auditory and tactile influence on the perception of a patient with impaired motor function, simulating the process of walking.

Working principle

• - The patient is immersed in a virtual environment with the help of virtual reality goggles, where the person sees himself in an upright position
• Pneumatic cuffs are placed on the patient's feet to simulate natural walking movements in the plantar region.
• The patient moves through an open space in virtual reality. Brain activity is stimulated, which leads to the restoration of neural connections in the brain that have been destroyed after a stroke. The person "gets used" to the upright position.
