The RRF160 reverse gearbox is a power unit for ships that transmits the power generated by the engine to the propeller. The main functions are forward, neutral, reverse . The gear transmission consists of power elements of the gear train to transmit the torque and absorb the forces generated by the propulsive force of the propeller. The forward and reverse motion in the gearbox is transmitted by pairs of hydraulic couplings, and the hydraulic system required for this purpose is built into the design.
