Rapid Blood Thawing, Heating, and Storage Device for Effective Blood Management

The apparatus is designed for rapid thawing, heating and storage in warm plasma, blood, blood components and infusion solutions. Non-distilled water as a heat carrier ensures economical operation and quick availability. The inbuilt timer allows defrosting times to be set from 1 to 40 minutes in 1 minute increments, or use the default setting of 20 minutes.

Uniform temperature distribution throughout the entire volume of the coolant ensures the safety of the procedure. Defrosting process parameters are displayed on the front panel of the unit. Light and sound signalling system informs in time about emergency situations.

The emergency system automatically stops the defrosting process when the coolant temperature exceeds +38.0°C. Quick and convenient drainage of the coolant through a quick coupling, saves time when sanitising the unit.
