Rail Tie Lifting and Distribution Grip for Assembly Stand

Gripper is designed for installation of sleepers with a given pitch (540 mm or 500 mm) on the rail-tie assembly bench. It is a lifting device and is suspended on the hook of a gantry crane. When the levers are opened, the gripper is placed on the 8-piece set of sleepers.

By turning the lever the operator closes the levers, thus bringing the hooks under the ends of the sleepers. The gantry crane carries the gripper with the set of sleepers to the place of sleeper installation and places it on the rails of the assembly stand. When the hook of the gantry crane is lifted, the middle ends of the roller supports with the sleepers mounted on them are lifted.

And sleepers under the action of gravity roll up to the stops, the place of which corresponds to the step of sleepers installation.
