Radioactive Gas Aerosol Mixture Flow Meter and Sampler PU-5 for Air Quality Control

Designed to measure and control the pumping speed and the total volume of the pumped gas-aerosol mixture during sampling of gas-aerosol mixtures in order to determine the content of radioactive gas-aerosol contaminants in the air.Sampling is carried out by pumping the gas-aerosol mixture through a system of filters and absorbers, which are further subjected to laboratory radiometric, spectrometric or chemical analysis.PU-5 is designed for precipitation of dispersed phase from air by pumping radioactive gas-aerosol mixtures through various filtering materials, such as various modifications of analytical filters made of FPP material, membrane filters, carbon adsorbers and other materials with similar properties. PU-5 is intended for use in radiation control laboratories of Minatom, Gossanepidnadzor, Ministry of Emergency Situations, environmental protection enterprises of various departments, etc.
