They are intended for measuring vacuum pressure of non-aggressive, non-crystallising liquids, steam and gas, including oxygen, and application in the spheres of the state metrological control and supervision (SMC&S) and the state system of industrial devices and means of automation (GSP). Manovacuummeters of accuracy class 1 and 0.6 have a zero correction on the pointer or on the body. Instruments of accuracy class 0.4 are produced with zero correction only on the body. Instruments of accuracy class 0,4 are allowed to be used as working standards, provided that the necessary ratios of the limits of acceptable basic errors with working measuring instruments are observed.
