BPL 275-12 power supply unit is designed for power supply of auxiliary equipment circuits of mine contact electric locomotives and converts constant voltage 275 V into stabilised constant voltage 12 V with load current up to 3 A. In addition, the source can be used for low voltage power supply of automation, communication, information transmission and other devices in mines and mines not dangerous by gas, steam or dust. The source has a built-in rechargeable battery and provides the ability to automatically switch to power from the battery when the supply line voltage disappears.To protect the power supply unit BPL 275-12 from increasing line voltage, protection from the destructive effects of impulse voltage spikes should be used voltage limiter ON-375.
