Polyvinyl chloride foam PCV-2-150

PVC resin-based tile foam is produced by press method, is a closed-cell plastic. All grades of polyvinylchloride foam are characterised by low water absorption and are self-extinguishing benzene-oil-resistant material. Polyvinylchloride foam can be used for the manufacture of floats operating in fuel and oil.

High chemical resistance of PVC allows to use foams for manufacturing of tanks for storage and transportation of volatile liquids (alcohol, petrol, etc.). Polyvinyl chloride foams resist acids and alkalis. PVC foams are more resistant to organic solvents.

Keeping samples of PCV foam in petrol and paraffin only slightly changes their dimensions and weight parameters. This foam also has high resistance in oils.
