Description
The unit "APN-250M" is designed for application of protective, heat-resistant, erosion-resistant and wear-resistant coatings by ion-plasma deposition in vacuum on products.
The unit is used for application of multi-component heat-resistant solders on the surfaces of soldered items (turbine blades, etc.), as well as for repair of parts with re-spraying of coatings under condition of complete removal of the previously applied layer from the coated surface of the treated items.
The principle of operation of the unit is based on condensation of coating in vacuum from plasma flow at high and controlled particle energies. The coating material is converted into plasma state by burning of plasma arc between the cathode made of the coating material and the anode of the unit. The plasma arc burns in the vapours of the cathode material. The source of vapour generation is the cathode microspots of the arc.
