Piston air compressor 202VP-12/3 (202VP-12/3m)

The piston crosshead single-stage compressor on an angle base 202VP-12/3 (202VP-12/3m) has a general industrial purpose and is used for compression of air to a pressure of 4,5 atm. The complete compressor unit consists of a compressor, refrigerators (air coolers), air pipework, cooling and automation systems. The 202VP-12/3 compressor is a piston crosshead machine with angled cylinder arrangement.

The compressor design is based on the normal range of machines adopted at Krasnodar Compressor Plant. For separation of liquid and oil particles there are cavities in coolers or moisture and oil separators, from where condensate and oil are removed by periodic blowing. The compressor is driven by an in-built electric motor, the motor stator is attached to the frame lantern and the rotor is mounted on the compressor crankshaft shank.

A significant number of assemblies and parts are unitised and interchangeable.
