Perimeter Security System "WOLF" for Accurate Detection of Ground Vibrations

The fibre optic perimeter protection system "VOLK" allows to detect any kind of activity, causing ground vibrations in the path of the sensor cable, localise the impact with an accuracy of up to 5 metres and classify the type of intruder on perimeters up to 140 km long. Detects and recognises the following types of impacts: movement of a pedestrian crossing the security boundary (including digging, climbing, dismounting, etc.); movement of a vehicle crossing the security boundary; work with a channelling tool; movement of light wheeled vehicles; movement of heavy wheeled equipment; operation of earth-moving machinery; movement of caterpillar equipment. Perimeter protection system "VOLK" consists of a stationary part (optical unit, secondary processing server with special software, UPS), linear part (fibre-optic cable with single-mode optical fibre), operator's workstation.
