Designed for the transfer of rolling stock from one track to another. It is used in curvilinear sections of railway lines. Design features: transfer: separate fastening, elastic bar terminals Skl or terminals type PC, pads with flanges, with subsequent welding of rail joints in the way aluminium-thermite method; switches: flexible shackles with welded rail ends; elastic P-shaped spring terminals, welded pads with cushions; connecting rods-adjustable; crosses: prefabricated with rail whiskers and shortened cast core of high-manganese steel with welded to its rear end rail ends, side working edges curved, counter-rail angle SP 850.
