Krayt K1-H8

Crate K1-H8 is a product of optical transport platform "HORIZONT". GORIZONT equipment is used in the unified telecommunication network of the Russian Federation as a receiving and transmitting device for digital fibre-optic transmission lines. The GORIZONT equipment supports the technology of dense spectral channel densification (DWDM) and protocols of optical transport networks OTN. Frame K1-H8 is designed to accommodate one full-slot or up to two half-slot devices of the HORIZONT platform, contains a control unit, a fan unit, provides slot devices with power supply, forced air cooling and transmission of control commands from the control unit to the devices installed in the slots.
