Optical Power Meter PHOTON-4 for Measuring Optical Radiation and Fiber Losses

Purpose:

• - Measurement of optical radiation power (dBm) and determination of loss in fibre optic light guides and cables.
• Identification of fibre in cassettes, detection of poor quality contacts, cracks, welding joints, breaks, kinks of optical fibre by visual method.
• Determination of technical condition and wiring diagram of copper cable of UTP, FTP types (correctness of wire crimping).
• Determination in FTP, UTP cables of the nature of the fault (short circuit, open circuit) and the distance to the fault on each core.
• Built-in 1kHz generator for determining the "own" cable in a bundle of other cables by contact method with the help of a complete "Termination" (plug) or non-contact method (non-contact probe is not included in the delivery set).
• Built-in LED torch.
