Optical Communication Cable OKSMs for Reliable Overhead Line Applications

For suspension and operation on supports of overhead power lines, overhead communication lines, radio broadcasting network, contact network of railways, urban transport, lighting poles, between buildings and structures, inside buildings and structures, in cable ducts, in special pipes, on bridges and overpasses. Cable with central power element made of fibreglass rods in polyethylene sheath (or without it), optical modules, and, if necessary, filling cordels or filling modules, with intermediate sheath made of polyethylene or without it, with peripheral power element in the form of fiberglass strands, outer sheath made of polyethylene. It is allowed to make cable sheath from polyethylene, which does not spread burning at single or group laying and does not emit corrosive gaseous products at burning and smouldering, with reduced smoke and gas emission.
