Multifunctional system combines heating, phototherapy and respiratory support modules. Infrared radiation is used to maintain the surface temperature of the newborn's body. Treatment of hyperbilirubinemia (jaundice) in the newborn is provided by reducing the concentration of indirect (unbound) bilirubin in the blood by irradiating the skin with light in the therapeutic range. Respiratory therapy is carried out by supplying the newborn with oxygen-air mixture with continuous positive pressure in the airway (CPAP) through nasal cannulas, as well as by short-term forced artificial ventilation in case of inadequate breathing through a nasal mask by personnel in the maternity room with manual pressure control. The product is designed for resuscitation, treatment and nursing of newborns, including premature, in maternity hospitals, pathology departments, intensive care and resuscitation wards.
