The neonatal phototherapeutic illuminator OFN-02-"UOMZ" is designed for effective treatment of neonatal jaundice without the use of additional drugs in maternity institutions, perinatal centres, specialised centres and research institutes for maternal and infant care. OFN-02 significantly exceeds the corresponding characteristics of lamp irradiators in terms of medical and technical parameters.

The principle of operation of the illuminator is based on irradiation of the baby's skin with light radiation in the spectral range of 450-500 nm (blue radiation), which leads to a decrease in the concentration of bilirubin in the blood.
