Multifunctional Road Machine ED 244K for Efficient Street Cleaning

Multifunctional road machine ED-244K on manoeuvrable two-axle chassis KAMAZ is designed for mechanised cleaning of highways, carriageway of city streets and squares with asphalt concrete and cement concrete pavement. The base chassis is adapted for installation of any attachments, allowing year-round maintenance. In winter the machine is designed for patrol and high-speed snow clearing, distribution of de-icing materials on the carriageway, including moistened and liquid chemical reagents, with automatic regulation of reagent distribution parameters from 5 to 50 g/m2.

In the summer period the machine is used for sweeping away rubbish, washing and watering of the road surface, elements of the track furnishings, road signs and plantings. Depending on the customer's requirements, both metal tank and plastic tanks E-2000 can be used as a capacity of water-washing and brine spreading equipment. Besides, the ED-244K machine can be equipped with Swiss-made BUCHER CITYFANT 6000 sweeping-vacuum equipment, which allows to carry out automated rubbish collection according to "dustless technology" on city streets and inter-block territories in summer period.

The machine can be equipped with one (basic equipment) or two (optional) suction units and a rear suction hose. In order to avoid downtime in winter, vacuum sweepers can be equipped with front ploughing equipment and rear brushing equipment.
