Description
Monopolar forceps are designed to perform cutting or coagulation of biological tissue using high-frequency currents as part of a high-frequency electrosurgical machine. The forceps consist of two electrically joined brushes. The forceps have an insulating coating. At the distal end of the brushes there are uninsulated tips for gripping tissue. At the proximal end there is a connector for the monopolar output cable of an HF device or a contact for touching with a monopolar electrode..
