It is forbidden to use the half-mask for protection against gases and vapours of harmful substances, aerosols of organic solvents, easily combustible and highly toxic substances. The half-mask is used in climatic zones IV (1) - IA ("special") at ambient temperature from minus 10 °? to plus 40 °?. The volume fraction of free oxygen in the working area air should be not less than 17 % and aerosol concentration not higher than 200 mg/m3 for average protection efficiency.
