Description

The sub-exciter module is a DC educator that converts the carriage on-board circuit voltage of 75V into a galvanically isolated voltage of 4000V, which is fed to the excitation windings of the traction motors to ensure their effective excitation at low speeds.
The exciter module is installed in the excitation current regulator of traction motors of DRP300/300 type.
