Modular hip prosthesis is a technical rehabilitation device intended for compensation of congenital and amputation defects at the hip level. The prosthesis consists of: a receiving sleeve made from a mould of the patient's residual limb, with a trial sleeve made of high-temperature thermoplastic. The material of the permanent receiving sleeve is injection moulded laminated plastic based on acrylic resins, with carbon fibre force elements; polymer cover or inlay sleeve made of silicone or foam material; adjustment and connection devices; the set includes thigh stump covers (wool, cotton, etc.).The prosthesis is equipped with a foot made of composite materials and a knee module, which is individually selected and can be mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic; the prosthesis can be attached by vacuum, locking, individual, with the use of a bandage or a combination of several types of attachment, if necessary.
